The Maifest is an old-fashioned celebration of spring and Hermann’s German heritage, with German music, dancing, food, and parades. Add Maypoles, children’s games, heritage tours, beer gardens, and an outdoor market for shopping, and you have an amazing small-town celebration for locals and visitors alike.
Plans for the 2024 Maifest are underway. Reserve May 17, 18 & 19 on your calendar, and then check back to see details as they unfold.
The 2024 Maifest Market will be ONE-DAY ONLY on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 9 AM to 7 PM. The Maifest Market will be located on Schiller and Third streets and will showcase a variety of artists, local makers, craftspeople, foods, beverages, and more.
