The Maifest is an old-fashioned celebration of spring and Hermann’s German heritage, with German music, dancing, food, and parades. Add Maypoles, children’s games, heritage tours, beer gardens, and an outdoor market for shopping, and you have an amazing small-town celebration for locals and visitors alike.
The Hermann Arts Council is now accepting vendor applications for the 2025 Hermann Maifest Market during the annual (73 years) Maifest celebration! The Maifest Market will be ONE-DAY ONLY on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10 AM to 6 PM. The Maifest Market will be located on Schiller and Third streets and will showcase a variety of artists, local makers, craftspeople, live music, family-friendly activities, food, beverages, and more.
We are in the process of finalizing the 2025 Maifest Schedule of Events.
